On the information security front CASES works closely together with CyTrap (Cyber Threat Reduction and Prevention), a research group that represents a collaborative effort hosted and spearheaded in Zurich and working closely with other organizations (e.g., EICAR.org, CASES-cc.org).

CyTrap's mission is essentially threefold:

  • prevention and prediction;
  • research and development;
  • education and training.

CASES will use this information and tools coming out of CyTrap to further enhance its mission and improve the outputs provided to its stakeholders and list subscribers.

Creating Cyber-Awareness

CASES primary focus is on on educating home users on the inherent dangers of the Internet and the steps they can take to combat those issues.

This security wellness program will empower home users and SMEs to protect their rights, privacy and information effectively and responsibly.

Research addressing the above will be shared with CASES subscribers.
